There’s nothing quite like the energy of a room full of wagging tails and hopeful hearts. This past Valentine’s Day, the Richmond Vona team headed down to Buffalo RiverWorks for the annual Pawlentines Day Event, and it’s safe to say our hearts are officially full. This event gave us a chance to advocate for some of the most vulnerable members of our community: local shelter pups looking for their “forever Valentines.”
Partnering for a Purpose: Sweet Buffalo
Our involvement in this event stems from our ongoing partnership with Sweet Buffalo. Sweet Buffalo to the Rescue is a powerhouse social media group dedicated to shining a light on homeless animals in Buffalo and across Western New York.
By sharing the stories of dogs and cats who might otherwise be overlooked, Sweet Buffalo has become a bridge between local rescues and loving families. Richmond Vona is a proud community partner of their initiatives because we believe that every “underdog” deserves a fair shot at a forever Valentine and a happy life.
A Premier Backdrop at Buffalo RiverWorks
The event couldn’t have had a better venue than Buffalo RiverWorks. It’s nestled right on the banks of the Buffalo River, and provided the perfect sprawling space for families to meet, greet, and fall in love with their potential new pets.
#RVInTheCommunity
Supporting local rescues isn’t just about the cute photos (though there were plenty of those!). It’s about engaging with our community. We were thrilled to see so many neighbors come out to support the cause, and we’re even more excited for the families who left the event with a new best friend.
Richmond Vona Injury Lawyers has 4 offices throughout Western New York and is proud to support communities in the region through events like these. We are proud to help Western New Yorkers in their time of need after an accident or injury that occurred to no fault of their own.
