Nominate a Local Veteran in Need
Do you know a veteran in Western New York who needs financial assistance? Medical bills. Home repairs. Something else entirely. Richmond Vona, Veterans Race, and WNY Heroes are partnering to support veterans who’ve served.
If you know someone, nominate them. We’ll make a financial contribution to two veterans to help with their need.
Who can nominate: Anyone 18 or older in the Western New York area.
Who qualifies: Honorably discharged veterans and active military members living in the WNY broadcast area.
What we need:
- Veterans: DD-214 and military ID
- Active military: Military ID
- First responders: State or facility-issued ID
- All nominees: Valid US driver’s license

Contest Rules & Consent
How to enter: Submit the nomination form with required documentation listed above. One entry per household. Nominations close at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on October 15, 2026
Prize: Two winners each receive a financial contribution toward their identified need, as determined by Richmond Vona Law and Veterans Race. Winners will be notified via email and must be present at the Veterans Race on November 7, 2026 to claim their prize. No purchase is necessary.
