Emily joined the Richmond Vona team in 2026, bringing with her a unique, full-spectrum perspective on personal injury law. Having worked her way up from receptionist to attorney, Emily understands every stage of a case and the teamwork required to achieve meaningful results for injured clients.

Born and raised in Cheektowaga, Emily graduated from Cleveland Hill High School before earning a four-year NCAA athletic scholarship to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. There, she obtained her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science with a minor in Pre-Law. She returned home to Western New York to earn her Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law.

Emily has long been fascinated by the law and the process of resolving conflict, but her passion for personal injury law solidified early in her career while working at a personal injury firm. Even as a receptionist, she saw firsthand how easily individuals could be taken advantage of by insurance companies without proper representation. That experience shaped her commitment to standing up for injury victims and ensuring they have strong, capable advocacy on their side. She is particularly proud to practice in a contingency fee model that removes financial barriers and allows people from all walks of life to access quality legal representation.

Her progression from receptionist to legal assistant, paralegal, law clerk, and now attorney has given her a deep appreciation for strategy, attention to detail, and the collaborative effort behind every successful outcome. Emily understands that when clients contact a personal injury firm, they are often navigating one of the most difficult moments of their lives. She approaches each case with empathy, transparency, and a commitment to keeping clients informed so they never feel left in the dark.

In addition to her legal work, Emily has demonstrated a strong commitment to the Western New York community. She organized a donation drive for the Family Justice Center in 2023 after working with victims of domestic violence and helped create the Western New York Women’s Foundation Voter Education Guide in 2022.Above all, Emily prides herself on being approachable yet relentless in her advocacy, ensuring every client feels heard, respected, and fully supported.
