OSHA Investigation Underway After Con Edison Worker Seriously Injured in Electrocution at Property Near Kings Highway and Avenue D
EAST FLATBUSH, BROOKLYN (February 19, 2026) – A Con Edison worker was seriously injured after being electrocuted while working at a property by Kings Highway and Avenue D.
New York City officials are saying that the accident took place around 10:30 AM on Wednesday. The Con Edison worker was electrocuted for undetermined reasons and went into cardiac arrest.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident to help the victim. They performed CPR before transporting him to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center.
He was listed in critical condition after arriving at the hospital but, is now expected to recover. A full investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
