Unfortunately, asbestos exposure is not limited to workers. It’s a mineral, and it doesn’t discriminate. It doesn’t care who you are.

So if a worker works at a steel plant and he comes home with all that asbestos on his work clothing, and his wife wanders in the basement with a closed basement environment with no windows open, and the first thing they do is just shake out those clothes because they’re so dirty, they’re being exposed.

And there have been countless cases that I’ve represented, not just housewives but children as well.

Again, it doesn’t discriminate. If you come home, you give your son a hug every day and it’s on you, there’s a chance that exposure could cause a disease at some point.
