How do medical bills get covered in a car accident lawsuit?
In New York, if you’re injured in a car accident, your medical bills are going to be paid for by no-fault insurance. Sometimes you’ll see it on your insurance policy as PIP, which stands for personal injury protection. That’s another word for no fault.
