Ja’Veana joined Richmond Vona in 2024 as a Legal Assistant. She was born and raised in Buffalo, and went to Daemen University for Political Science, with a minor in Pre-law and Spanish. Ja’Veana was drawn to the practice of law for a couple of different reasons.
She has always felt the need to be a helping hand to others while they’re going through a difficult time. Working in the legal field has also allowed her to help those who do not know what legal resources are available to them, and she hopes to be a voice in the community and build awareness for those in need of help.
Lastly, Ja’Veana draws inspiration from her mom, who works as a paralegal. From the first day that she allowed Ja’Veana to read her law textbooks she grew more and more interested, and has always wanted to follow in her mother’s footsteps.
Ja’Veana draws on her experiences and familiarity with hard times, which she uses to empathize with and reassure clients she encounters. She hopes that this experience and empathy will allow clients to feel more comfortable and know that she and our team will do the best that we can to resolve their concerns.
When not at work, Ja’Veana enjoys painting cartoon characters, cooking, photography, and walks through nature paths.
