Our client was delivering medical resources to a resident, when that resident’s dog got out and bit our client. Our client fell down the stairs and broke a bone in his leg trying to escape the dog. Our client sustained a puncture wound to his calf and the broken leg. The broken leg led to him being off of work for a few months and almost cost him his job. However, he has made a great recovery. The dog owner had their own coverage, which is very rare for an apartment situation. We were also able to get the landlord to attest, which led to the settlement to get the case resolved. We were responsive with our client, gave him excellent service in how often we responded to his questions, and helped to coordinate with his comp claim to get everything resolved in a quick fashion.
