A lot of our clients have this misconception about insurance companies, and that’s that the insurance company wants to do the right thing by them. And that couldn’t be further from the truth. Even if it’s your own insurance company, they are designed to pay you as little as possible as quickly as possible. We always tell our clients, after they hire us, please do not speak to insurance companies. We will handle everything from here on out. And that’s because we know the insurance companies are designed to trick clients. They’re designed to ask for information they’re not entitled to, to take recorded statements. They will oftentimes even just mail settlement checks, lowball offers to clients, hoping that they’ll cash the check and sign the release that they don’t understand, because after that, there’s typically no going back. There’s a huge power imbalance between insurance companies and just everyday people. And that’s why a firm like ours exists. We are here to level the playing field to give our clients actually, an edge, and going up against these insurance companies and really making sure these insurance companies do not bully our clients. We handle everything with the insurance companies. So, our clients can just focus on getting better. And we’re known by the insurance companies as a law firm that will litigate hard, that tries cases, and ultimately we think that really benefits our clients.
